OUR CHALLENGES
With a long rough-and-tumble old-west heritage developed during the late 1800’s gold mining boom, Cripple Creek residents face several challenges that were born of this boom, including gambling, drinking, prostitution and drugs.
Today, many of these issues still affect our small town of 1,200 residents, largely populated by senior citizens and low-income families. At Cripple Creek Baptist Church, we work to help our community overcome these challenges.
