With a long rough-and-tumble old-west heritage developed during the late 1800's gold mining boom, Cripple Creek residents face several challenges that were born of this boom, including gambling, drinking, prostitution and drugs.
Today, many of these issues still affect our small town of 1,200 residents, largely populated by senior citizens and low-income families. At Cripple Creek Baptist Church, we work to help our community overcome these challenges.
Workers are needed for many potential outreach projects in the Cripple Creek community. Please stop by the church to speak with Pastor Dennis or Jean to see how you can help further our mission. If you’re ready to get started, email us or call (719) 689-3723. We look forward to hearing from you.
